@cz17 Sorry, what operating system are you working with there?

Do you find GoToMyPC installed and running as an active application?

The problem is - there is no icon for gotomypc in the system tray.

You can access the app via the web -and then no tray icon appears.

When I tried to follow the instructions, the indicated app was not there - there is no icon in the tray either method (web or app) and there are no expansion arrows, the app doesn't appear on the notification screen in windows settings. How assinine to design a product where you can not change the preferences except via a method that may not work?

Hi Graham,
Sorry for the confusion.
If you've confirmed GoToMyPC is running ('g2comm.exe' will be listed as a process in your task manager), then it should be in your task bar somewhere near the date/time. Sometimes Windows can 'hide' additional application icons behind an upwards arrow in that area.
