My screen was full-screen, full resolution but not any more.

My host screen has always been full-screen, full resolution but not any more. My host has always logged me in to my remote computer at full-screen, full resolution. After my remote computer did a restart for Windows updates, the remote screen came in very small. My host computer screen resolution is 1920x1080 - my remote computer was showing up as 1360x768. As I increased my remote computer resolution towards 1920x1080, instead of filling the screen symmetrically, the bottom right corner went down and right off my host monitor's viewing area. I guess this is related to the black borders I keep reading about but my black border is all the way around my remote computer's window not simply vertical. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much! That worked! Changed it to 1920x1080 - it did the same thing where it held top left corner and adjusted down and right - but I left the resolution on 1920x1080, disconnected/reconnected and all was perfect! I disconnected/reconnected again and it held the resolution! Thanks for your quick reply and fix to my problem!

Hi Rick, if you are changing your resolution while in a GoToMyPC session, you will need to disconnect and start a new session so that GoToMyPC can redraw the canvas it uses to project the host computer's image on. Does the resolution change each time you connect?
