Hi Chris,
Sometimes advanced GoToMyPC Preference settings can get in the way of a network connection. Try disabling Direct Connect in your Host computer's preferences:

Thank you! Do you know if there is a reason why there would be a difference in connection/responsiveness between two different computers on the same network?

For instance Computer A remotely connects to computer B or C. Computers B and C are on the same network, but performance when Computer A and B are connected is better than when computer A and C are connected.
