I am sorry for the frustrations.
This error message is usually overcome by restarting the Host computer. Hosts can be shown as communicating with our servers online, and yet still become unavailable for various reasons such as resource limits reached.

Michael, I logged into GoToMyPC last night without any issues. Today, I have gotten this frustrating message all day long. Which computer would need the exemption, the host or the client? If it is the host and I am 1200 miles away, how am I supposed to create the exemption? When I log in to the software on the client computer, the My Computer screen indicates the host is on-line. This is really frustrating! I have been a user of this software for many years and never encountered this problem before!

What a stupid message to give us dummies out here. Wait a few minutes! Do these jerks think the anti-virus program is going to go away in a few minutes. Very frustrating for one of the highest priced remote access programs!

Thanks, rebooted the computer that I use to connect thru GoToMyPC and that worked.

Hi Gina, do you have any antivirus programs installed on your computer? It's possible GoToMyPC's files on your client computer are getting blocked, and you might need to exempt us from your security's active protection.

Try connecting thru the green options button worked for me!
