hi! im getting this - Citrix Online Launcher encountered an error:
Download server responded with status 404. Failed to download GoToMyPC from our servers.

Well it does not look like you've updated that Host in some time. Perhaps now would be a good opportunity to test and upgrade and connection again.

See if you can right-click the MYPC icon in your task bar, to select 'Check for Updates'. Once complete, reboot the host and connect from your remote client once more.

I've looked at the logs. It seems like the query to:
https://builds.citrixonlinecdn.com:443/builds/g2p/2010/goLoader.exe
returns a 404.

The 404 error message still indicates that the web page is not found, which in this case indicates a block because we don't have any service disruptions or web page errors currently.

You might have them run a trace route to see what their path looks like from client to server: poll.gotomypc.com

I think we can rule out LAN issues. I've received the same error message when trying to log in from my home network.

Turning off your firewall may not disable the decisions it has made previously. I'm not going to tell you to remove it, but if you're in a company environment, you can try to test off-network to rule out any LAN problems and point towards the firewall application its self.

I've tried turning off my firewall and connecting. It still did not work. Any other ways to isolate the issue?

If there are only some Hosts on your network being affected, I'd check any local firewall or network settings there.

Currently, half of the computers at our offices aren't able to connect to that particular server. I've tried rebooting, switching browsers, operating systems, updating to the latest version of logmein. I can't seem to pinpoint the the difference between working and non-working computers. For now, the workaround is to remote into a working machine and then use gotomypc. This isn't optimal, is there a better solution?

This was resolved in 2016, yes.
If you're currently seeing this error message, I would try the same launcher flow from an alternate network to test further.

Hi there,
That does sound strange, and it's good you've isolated it to one host PC or location. Since you've made it this far, it might be worth testing can you go to the problem host, and open up the software preferences (right-click the system tray icon). From there, under the 'Connection' tab, disable 'Direct Connections' ('Not Allowed'). Then, test your client connection once again to see if there are any improvements?

Hello I am getting the same problem on my Client computer when I am trying to connect to one of my host computers. other host computers working ok from the same client computer. Also the host computer when accessed with mobile seems ok. So the problem is between the client computer and one host computer. Very strange!!

Our host PCs have same error...

But.. I am sure that this error was caused from firewall or antivirus program on Client PC...
because when I tried to connect to host PC by app on my phone, It was possible to connect..

So. I need to know where can I download older version of GoToMyPC s/w(Recently version is somthing wrong)

or what should I do for connecting to host PC by my PC...

Hi Mellanie, I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue with connecting to your host computer, as well as for the delay in responding to your issue. Are you still experiencing this problem, or does it appear to have resolved itself?

I've been seeing different iterations of the same general issue that you are experiencing; it could be a firewall or antivirus program that is preventing the launcher from downloading the viewer files from our server. It could also be a permissions issue on a folder that the launcher uses on your computer.

Regardless, it would be difficult to determine the exact cause without doing some digging on the host computer. I highly recommend you give our 24/7 support team a call at your earliest convenience so that one of our representatives can connect with you and gather more information.
