Sometimes I need to us GoToMyPC and sometimes a VPN. Best options?

Most of the time I access my desktop using GoToMyPC since I need full control of my desktop. I want to start using a program that will be on my laptop and to sync data with my desktop, I will need to access my desktop with a VPN. Is there a VPN that "plays nice" with GoToMyPC? I need my desktop to be ready to accept either one at any time, as I might need to log in to my desktop both ways in the same day. Now that GoToMyPC is part of LogMeIn, would that be the best option?

Hi @lk11,

Any VPN should work as long as it allows the GoToMyPC Host software to continue connecting to our servers. GoToMyPC makes outbound connections using either port 80, 443 or 8200, so as long as it can still use one of these port via the VPN you will still be able to connect.
