Attendee screen share fails if attendee joins in Chrome

I called about this issue this week and was told it's a known issue, but I can't find any current discussions.

The only way around it is to disable to ability for attendees to join from Chrome so that when they are passed the presenter role and prompted to share their screen, they have to download the full GoToTraining app.

Are there any discussions covering this?

Hi there,

I'm sorry if the message given was inaccurate with regards to the GoToTraining Web App. You are allowed to screen share through it, however it does require a plugin to install: GoToTraining Web App Screen Share .

If your attendees do not have the admin rights to download and install anything, then that may explain their screen sharing limitations.

** I should add that the 'Web App' function varies slightly from the 'Instant Join' feature, though the experienced is very similar.
