Accessing iMac difficulties

I am having repeated difficulties with accessing my iMac remotely on a consistent basis. After a long session the connection abruptly shuts down and the host iMac becomes unavailable. Situation is always the same.

The host is ON even when listed as unavailable.

The internet connection is LIVE even when listed as unavailable.

The host is not in sleep mode.

Physically rebooting the host iMac does not solve the issue. It still remains unavailable. The only thing that solves the problem is uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Not a very tenable solution when I need the host to be available for remote access.

I need a solution to the issue. Thanks.

Do you have any other GoToMyPC hosts on the same network that operate without this problem?

Is this your own local network? If so, are you directly connected, or using WiFi?

If you like, we can try a newer GoToMyPC build as well.

The host is on the company LAN. Not using WiFi.

A newer build is worth trying. Where can I download?

Adding that the GoToMyPC software is version 9.6 (2220) running on an iMac OSX 10.10.5
