Can't enter "acceptable" password for unattended support

I'm running through the paces on a testbed where I'm introducing a Domain Controller to an existing Workgroup.

The DC Server was working fine with GTA until I promoted it to the DC role.

Now, when I try to change (or confirm) the password using the system tray icon Unattended Access \ Update Stored Password, I keep getting the response: "The username and password you entered is invalid".

Yet, I can use the username and password if I logoff and logon again while remaining in the GTA session!!

I have tried:

username

Servername\username

Servername.domainname\username

When starting a new GTA session, I don't see the banner "you have a stored password".

Yet, when entering the correct password *here* it works just fine.

No RDP session running at the same time.

Have you had an active RDP session going with this computer when you have been trying to update the PW through GTA_RS?

Hi Fred,

The user name should be automatically populated when you launch the Update Stored Password window from the menu, the format is: WindowsDeviceName\UserName The Password field will be blank. I'll run this by the support team and see if anyone has seen this behavior before.
