How many WebCam's can be used during a GoToWebinar? not ... gotomeeting
Thanks
Hi,
As of June 30th 2020 GoToWebinar now supports sharing up to 25 webcams.
thanks for the confirmation Chris
The old limit was 6. It changed a year ago (June 30, 2020) to a maximum of 25 webcams at one time.
Hi Glenn,
is this confirmed? I was told on the phone by helpdesk that it was 6, and then when I queried this (as I have had 11 webcams showing at the same time) I was told it was actually 25).
thanks
Barry
As an update to this - I am seeing conflicting information which says 6 maximum (though I have had 11 cameras on previously in a webinar), and some sources online saying 25. Help desk have just said 25 (after initially saying 6) - but couldn't point me to any reference information online which says this, other than an internal memo).
I am looking to see the maximum number of webcams that can be in use at the same time in a Webinar - that is, how many of my panelists can be on screen at the same time.
many thanks
When will the webcam limit be raised on GoToTraining?
Six is the maximum number of webcams at one time.
In GoTo Webinar, any text entered in the Question panel by the Attendees is seen only by the Organizer.
Hey Community,
I am new to GoToWebinar and have a couple of questions that has come up from using the product recently.

@TBeekman There are plans to increase the GoToWebinar webcam allowance, though we don't have an ETA for that development yet.
GlennD,
Are there any plans to increase the amount of webcams in a webinar at a time? While working with the free trail I did notice the 6 webcam limitation and thought that it was due to it being a free trial. As a result of the discovery I did call and speak to a sales person regarding the limitation and was unfortunately misled on what the actual number was for webinars. It would seem that LogMeIn would want to compete with their competitors in this aspect, since Zoom does allow for up to 100 panelists to show webcams at the same time.
Any input you may have would be great.
Thanks,
Tracy
@J_Davis_Cdale That website info specifically references GoToMeeting services, which currently allow for up to 25 webcams at one time. It should only pop up when you hover/click on the GoToMeeting icon.
I think that means you can have 25 people included as Panelists and Organizers, and only the Panelists and Organizers can share their webcam. The max to share at one time is 6. I agree this text on the marking page is misleading and should be addressed.
Additionally, you can have up to 25 people talking at the same time (mics unmuted).
If the maximum is 6, then why is it advertised as 25?
6 at one time, and the person has to be an Organizer, Panelist, or Presenter to share a webcam.
Hi @diazdiegof2
In a webinar, up to 6 webcams can be shared at any time by webinar staff (organizers, panelists). https://support.goto.com/webinar/help/hdfaces-video-conferencing-faqs-g2w060022
how many people in a gotowebinar session can share their camera at the same time
Hi @Manuela
Currently, 6 webcams at a time are the maximum number supported.
I would like to ask to increase the number of webcams for the Webinars. 6 is not enough when you have more than 6 panelists speaking at the same time in a panel discussion.
Is that possible?
Also I would like to ask to increase the lenght of the polls. 60 letters are not enough.
Thank you
Manuela
