internal error has occured

HI there i am having trouble registering a host computer.I have updated form version

6.1 to version 10.2 of gotomypc and am getting the error "an internal error has occcurred"

The software was installed as admin and im running as a service.What workarounds are available for this?Do i need to edit the Registry?

Hi James,

Try this installation flow instead:

Uninstall GoToMyPC from the Host
Log into your online account and remove that nickname, in order to trigger the set up button again.
Download and SAVE the new file
From the GoSetup.exe file: Select Properties then on the General tab and check Unblock
Proceed with the installation after that.
