I know this post is old, but it cannot be a "hardware" issue. I just did a windows 10 update and now my screens will not go "blank". Is there an update to this issue?
Thanks for your patience everyone.
We've released an update that fixes the screen blanking failure for hosts running Windows v2004 and higher. Please upgrade affected PCs to LogMeIn host software 4.1.0.14344 in order to activate the new screen blanking method.
"Hi. This update seems to have triggered an issue where I have double cursor while using Autodesk programs (Autocad and Revit). This wasn't an issue before this update was automatically installed, so something in the update broke it. Impossible to work like this."
This is strange because with this update I had a 4th screen from nowhere (I have 3 'real' screens) with this double cursor behaviour and I saw it was connected to "LogMeIn Virtual Display Adapter" so I disabled this Virtual Adapter and this 4th screen disappeared.
I think we can say this update have a virtual display adapter driver issue.

Do you have a solution for this?
The two cursors are different sizes and track each other with a delay in the remote computer, making it impossible to work.
I agree that this issue is going on way too long. Especially for the price that we pay for the Logmein service.
i AM ALSO UNABLE TO BLANK MY SCREEN AFTER A WINDOWS UPDATE. It was working before the update.
THIS ISSUE IS NOT SOLVED!
This issue is dragging on way too long. This issue also affects Windows 10 version 20H2.
My pain ends in February.
No fix = no renewal.
I am having same problem.
Ash - many office computers have been replaced with All-in-one pcs so the screen can not be powered off separately from the PC. can you possibly emulate a split screen where the host PC sees its desktop but the Virtual user works on a screen 2. Microsoft still allows for split screen and most office users will not have a 2nd physical screen.
Previous posts from months ago note there is a solution in the works. Would like to know if that solution is available now?
@CCDC-1 We are actively working on a solution for this currently, and I hope to have more information in the coming weeks.
Has there been any movement with a fix for the screen blanking issue on the host computer? Solved only says will release an update soon...... that is from 8/21/2020

@tolitski This issue began after a recent Microsoft decision to block the previous method of screen blanking on Windows 10 OS V2004 and newer. While we work with Microsoft to arrange a new, secure method, the only workaround is to revert those systems to the previous Windows version. I expect more updates around this issue in the coming weeks and thank you for your patience.
It's 11/18/2020. I am also experiencing this.. Can someone from LMI, provide an explanation or a fix?
Please update immediately, this is imperative to my business and we will need to move our business elsewhere within days if not fixed.
This has been going on for very long time, I don't understand why there is no solution.
I will not renew LogMeIn for my users.
Hey folks,
I apologize for the screen blanking issues affecting some Windows 10 machines running the newest updates (V2004+). We noted a programming change with this new version that disallowed the mechanism previously used to overlay the display. We're working on a new solution for this scenario and I hope to have more information soon.
[Update] We have created some clearer documentation around this issue as the work on a resolution continues: https://supportstage.logmeininc.com/central/help/screen-blanking-does-not-work-on-my-windows-10-host-what-can-i-do
