I had talked to a couple of Logmein Reps who liked the idea but of course couldn't comment on future products. What I want is the ability to have different calling cards with complete control over what they look like and with what logos and links for each and every card I create and even per channel. I have one company with two different DBA names and represent mulitple Vendor products as a reseller. Most customers recognize either the Logo of one of my DBA's or the product that they have. Having the calling card update via the locally installed calling card on the Technician's desktop doesn't do us any good. You change something and it changes it for everyone.
It is my wish that Logmein "Host" these customized calling cards as part of the service. Create a specific card for a channel for a specific software product and or logo, that way when we go to deploy the calling card we can pick from a list of saved cards and push them to the client based on type of product, dba, or whatever.
I have always given high praises to Logmein and I will again here. You guys have the best remote control product on the planet! And I think I have tried almost all of them.
However, on this one feature it has been poorly designed in my opinion. I sincerly hope this is changed soon.
