top ribbon is annoying

Is there any way to stop the top ribbon from constantly going up and down? It is extremely annoying.

Whenever a new screen opens (email, excel, word, browser, etc) the screens open towards the top of the window and I'm in/out of a lot of files in a day, so yes, I guess I'm navigating with mouse towards top of the window quite frequently.

When you say 'going up and down', does this happen even when your mouse doesn't navigate up to the hidden window frame?

I'm connecting remote from my laptop and yes, I think I'm using full screen.

Are you using full screen mode from your remote client?
