I'm a REALLY old GoToMyPC user -- starting back around 2006-2007 I think, though I've been away for a number of years and was just thinking of using it again. But this sounds extremely scammy, like some "time-share" condo scheme. I assume you require people to call so that you can give them a "hard sell" on why they shouldn't leave the service.
This is nothing like the old GoToMyPC whose customer service was so easy and considerate that they even stopped billing me for a while when they noticed that I hadn't logged in in about 6 months! I was thinking GTMPC would be a more trustworthy choice to go back to instead of newcomers I don't know a lot about (like Zoho Assist) and ones that go out of their way to hide all information about ownership, locations, and management like RemotePC. But seeing this issue and response gives me pause.
