Giving remote support to a heavily infected PC

Hi,

Today I had my second case with a the same problem: the pc is so heavily infected that the connctection with LMI Rescue was impossible.

I told her to try a ping to a mail server and the IP connection was working ok.

Anyone knows an antivirus rescue CD that I could mail to my customers, at least to remove the most relevant viruses, in order to establsih the connection ??

Easier solution is ask customer to boot into safe mode with networking then get them to connect.
