so I get the error ("Local user rights may be restricted on the remote device and the boot.ini file cannot be written to. Safe mode reboot cannot be completed.") when i try to reboot my laptop when testing the safe mode reboot feature. I know the safe reboot works normally, but i don't know why this is happening. My boot.ini file is in the common location (C:\boot.ini) and i've even made sure 'everyone' has full access to the file...still get the noted error. i've also made sure the file is NOT marked with the 'read only' flag.
