Theme Change in new GoToWebinar -Request for White Background Option in Webinar Format Due to Access

I am currently having issues with the dark background. Talked to customer support and their currently isn't a fix for this. The issue is currently in one of the monthly meetings for people with disabilities, a few individuals are having issues with the black theme with white lettering. Is there any work toward having the normal white background with black lettering with the new webinar format? Does anyone have a fix for this?

@KateG Do you have an update on fixing this accessibility issue yet? The new GoToWebinar interface still does have the option for a light mode, only dark mode.

This is a request to add the option to toggle dark mode to light mode in the new GoToWebinar platform. The suggestion on several forums to change it in the appearance section of the app does not affect the webinar once launched.

Due to a visual impairment, reading white text on dark backgrounds causes significant discomfort, eye strain, and lingering visual disturbances, effectively making the application unusable for me and others facing similar challenges.

I would like to echo this issue - while many prefer dark mode, there needs to be a light mode option to be fully accessible. Please add the light mode option...changing it in "appearance" does nothing once the GoToWebinar is launched.

Welcome to the Community.

There is an ability to change the app to light mode, but this does not affect the appearance of GoTo Webinar.

I've shared your comment with the team, this is not currently on the roadmap, but is under consideration. You may want to create an idea for this, where others can vote for this feature.

Hi,

In a standard webinar using the new desktop app, the colour scheme is black and white which is quite harsh on the eyes (for an attendee using the Questions box for example). It would be great if you could add a feature that enables customisation of the colours on the control panel and layout.
