Upon an incoming call, it would be extremely helpful and convenient if there were an option to have the app window pop up on the screen to make it easier and quick to answer.

The notification will appear on the screen, it won't stay there and you will still have to open the app to answer.
You should see Grasshopper listed in notifications and be able to set the option to enable banners. Can you double-check that it's not listed?
If you still don't see it can you share the app version, you should be able to get it from the menu bar as shown:

I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly. I keep the app open while I'm working online but I have other windows on top of it. When a call comes in, I hear the godawful telephone ring and then I have to find the window the app is in to answer it. I don't get a desktop notification and I verified that DND is not enabled. However, I did notice that I had notifications disabled so I enabled them, but the Grasshopper app isn't listed under 'Notifications from apps and other senders'.

You should already see a desktop notification like this (as long as DND is not enabled), but it sounds like you would like the desktop app itself to open?
