Good morning,
is it possible to link the creation of these folders Waapi-random number (hundreds and very large) inside the %temp% path in Windows to GoTo Resolve?"
Thank you Cris
Hi Glenn,
I’ve collected the support file, but I noticed that the issue on my PC has disappeared for about 2–3 days without me doing anything… maybe the latest portal update might have had an effect. For now, I don’t have any other PCs with the same issue. Thanks for your support.
Cristiano
The file ARE created by LogMeIn.exe
Hi @Cristiano_R, thank you for you patience. I have confirmed that these folders are created for caching data temporarily, but obviously something is going wrong as they are not being deleted after use.
The team would like the Resolve log files from a few of your Unattended computers that are experiencing this issue: Gathering LogMeIn Resolve application logs Once you have them please email them to gotoservice at logmein dot com and I will attach them to the ticket.
Good evening Glen,
I ran some tests with a script together with my friend “Alfredo” that’s what we call ChatGPT in Italy I’m attaching what I see, show this to the developers so they can give us their opinion the antivirus installed on the machine is Kaspersky Standard Edition.
@Cristiano_R After some research I do not believe these files are created by Resolve. "Waapi is web animations API... Place where maybe a web page is storing renders". I have found a few mentions of them dating back 6 years, you should be able to delete any of the files older than the current date without issue.
Exactly.
Hi @Cristiano_R,
Are you asking if Resolve is creating these Waapi files?
