Login window does not boot/takes hours to boot

Hi!

I've been having this issue where the grasshopper login window takes HOURS to boot. I've tried all the suggestions from the AI chat - a. uninstalling and reinstalling the app; b. restarting my computer; c. restarting my wifi router - but still the login window does not boot or when it eventually boots, I've already spent a good 5 hours just waiting for the login window to appear. Please help me fix this issue because I do not want to spend 5 or 6 hours waiting for just the login window to boot. The only thing that appears are the green & yellow line graphics every time I open the grasshopper app.

I appreciate anyone who can help me fix this issue.

Thanks for the screenshots, it's appreciated. Logging in from The Philippines appears to be the issue.

Using Grasshopper outside of the U.S. or Canada is not supported, as the service is only available and guaranteed to work within these two countries. If you use Grasshopper outside of this region, you may encounter issues with functionality, including what you are experiencing.

Also I opened the grasshopper app today November 13, 2025 at 10:28 am Philippine time and it took roughly a minute and 9 seconds for the login window to pop up. But on the weekends - Saturday and Sunday - where my shift starts at 11 pm Philippine time (10 am New York time), it takes 5 hours before the login window pops up. I would like to be able to access grasshopper during my weekend shift without having to wait HOURS for the login window to pop up.

Yes I am logging in from the Philippines. I believe it is not available for download on the mobile phone but it is available for download on the desktop. And I was able to log in and out of grasshopper with no issues then after I was given an account.

Hi @kar_en, Thanks for getting back to me.

Are you trying to log in from the Philippines? Currently, Grasshopper is only available in the US and Canada which would probably be why there are issues.

If not, I'm not able to access the images, is it possible to post screenshots?

I also noticed that the login window boots immediately at certain times when I open grasshopper. At 4 am (Philippine time) and at 3 pm (Philippine time) on a weekday. But my shift starts at 11 pm (Philippine time) and I would like to login exactly on that time and not earlier just to wait for the login window to appear every time I open the app.

So what happens is I open grasshopper and I'm first met with this window. After a few minutes the graphics starts to pop up like here. Then I wait for the login windows to appear but it doesn't. So I close the app and I open it again and repeat this process - restarting my laptop and uninstalling and reinstalling the app in between. So I start this process at around 5 pm and at around 11 pm that's when the login window magically appears and I can log in to my account and have no issues while using the app.

I am not using any VPN and there is no security measure that is blocking grasshopper on my computer. I've had this problem once and I was told to just uninstall and reinstall the app and that totally worked, but this time it doesn't help at all.

I am using a Lenovo laptop with these specs:

Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz (2.42 GHz)
Installed RAM 20.0 GB (19.8 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

And it runs on Windows 11 OS below:

Edition Windows 11 Home Single Language
Version 25H2
Installed on ‎08/‎09/‎2025
OS build 26200.7019

I've tried connecting it to a different network and the same problem exists. I've also tried installing the app on a different laptop and I get the same issue as well.

Hi @kar_en, welcome to the Community.

Grasshopper should not take 5 hours to load, that's very strange. I'm surprised you could wait that long! After 5 hours does it load and you are able to use it like normal with no issues?

Are you using a VPN or antivirus/firewall security measures? Have you tried logging out if so?

If that doesn't help what type of computer/OS are you using? Have you tried a different device or network?
