Slow installation issues

When we install gtmpc we are seeing slow connecting to server in the software window just after where we put our account details and then after the name details. GTMPC hangs for a period of time which is causing us issues when we are setting up our environment and eventually locking us out of our account. This is happening across all our sites.

And has only started happening when we upgraded GTMPC to v2025.10.4334.

We have checked our network and nothing is blocking us locally.

I'm not aware of this as a known issue. Could you please call our support team? They can pull and review logs and see what may be happening. Thanks.

A knock on effect of the authentication issues is that, since it looks like the host account is experiencing authentication failures, any web shortcuts are invalidated and do not work anymore.

Just wanted to chime in here and say that we have been experiencing the same issue - cannot authenticate more than one host installation of GoToMyPC at a time without timing out. This started at the beginning of 2026 - no issues before that. We have not changed our network firewall policies - we're not blocking anyone. Also not using Zscaler or anything like it.

I am checking with our network team to confirm if we use Zscaler or not and to check the whitelisted IP's. I have tested older version of GTMPC installer and now have the same issue. The older version of the software worked fine before. We use a script that installs GTMPC so your servers might see that we are adding a lot of PC's(20) in a short period of time 5 to 15 mins. Could your firewall\server be blocking us. The GTMPC software hangs when trying to "communicating with GTMPC". Our script\installation process also worked fine previously.

After the installation of GTMPC the users can use GTMPC fine.

I've created a support ticket and someone will be reaching out to troubleshoot this with you and identify the cause. Out of curiosity, are you using Zscaler or something similar?
