Our aim is to create a space where GoTo/Logmein customers can ask questions, share tips, exchange ideas, and get solutions to all GoTo products.
We're dedicated to fostering a pleasant and collaborative environment, and we're glad you’re going to join us. The following represents how our community is set up and how you can jump in and start participating. So let’s get started!
Returning Members in the New GoTo Community
Returning Members will be asked to create a new community password. Please click forgot Password and a link will be sent to the email associated with your account.
Joining the GoTo Community so you can post, comment and vote.
If you already have a LogMeIn or GoTo account, simply sign into your account, then open the GoTo Community and click Sign-in at the top of the page to create your username and get started. Otherwise follow these steps to Register:
- To become a community member click on Register located in the top right corner of the page.
- Enter your email address (ideally the one associated with your GoTo product account), and create a password.
- Check your email for the verification email and click on the verification link it contains.
- Create your community username (please avoid creating a name that reflects advertising, inflammatory content, or something that could infer you are a GoTo employee).
Accessing your own Profile
Click the Mebox in the upper right, and in the popup:
- Click your avatar image to access your profile's Activity page, where you change your profile icon and see things like your earned Badges, Reactions, and Activity log.
- Click Account & Privacy Settings to edit your profile. From here, you can edit your username, email address, and account password, as well as access several other options such as managing your notification preferences and profile fields.
Posting and Commenting
We encourage you to visit often and contribute!
The best way to find answers and existing conversations is by typing your question into the search box. If someone has asked something similar, their posts will appear for you to click on. You can then join the conversation by clicking on the Reply button displayed.
If no results pop up, it's possible that no one in the community has asked that question yet, and you can click "New Post" on the appropriate discussion board to start a new thread.
Use “New Discussion” to share feedback with the GoTo/Logmein Teams or to discuss topics that invite open-ended responses. Select “Ask a Question” when you need specific help, advice, or direct answers from community members and moderators.
When submitting feedback, please ensure your comments aligned with our community guidelines to foster a positive and productive environment for everyone.
Suggest an Idea
Many of our product communities have a Community Ideas board where you can review, vote and/or comment on existing ideas.
Voting for an idea is important because it helps us understand which suggestions matter most to the community and prioritize them accordingly. You will notice ability to upvote in the idea, next to the status.
If you have a feature suggestion or improvement that has not already been posted you can add it by clicking on New Idea, but please take a moment to review our guidelines.
All ideas are reviewed by the appropriate GoTo/Logmein teams, and we provide updates as they become available.
