Issue - Virtual Backgrounds in GoToWebinar Pro Version

I’m writing to share feedback directly with your development team regarding the virtual background feature included with our GoTo Pro subscription.

One of the main reasons we chose to purchase this version of GoTo was specifically to use virtual backgrounds, with the expectation that it would enhance the professionalism and overall visual quality of our webinars. Unfortunately, our experience has not met those expectations.

The feature does not perform as smoothly or consistently as anticipated, and in all cases there are "halos" and poor resolution appearing grainy around the presenter. It detracts from the overall presentation quality rather than improving it. Given that this capability was a key factor in our decision to upgrade, this has been disappointing.

We are bringing this to the attention of your developers as suggested by the support team in the hope that it can be reviewed and improved.

Virtual Backgrounds are included in the GoTo app, so anyone using the GoTo app new experience (vs classic) has access to Virtual backgrounds. In case you haven't reviewed, this article provides tips and best practices for the feature.

To help our developers investigate, could you share a few specific examples of what you mean by not being a smooth and consistent performance? For instance:

• Is this happening to specific participants or to everyone?
• Is the issue more prominent with certain backgrounds, lighting conditions, or camera types?
• Are there particular moments or features (e.g., screen sharing) where the issue becomes more noticeable?
