Option to display "Clean Screen" during webinars as is possible in the GoToWebinar Classic version

We always shared our Windows/Screen using the "clean screen" option and this is not possible with the new software. Our events are always recorded and I don't like having the date, time, open tabs, open apps and other taskbar items visible to attendees.

We pre-record many of our webinars, so it is very important to us that the taskbar is not visible.

Your support team suggested to me that we should share an application instead. Although this removes the taskbar from view, when sharing an application, it is not possible to seamlessly switch between tabs or windows shown on the same screen (for example, PowerPoint slides and an application).

We would really appreciate if you could include the "Clean screen" option in the new software as soon as possible.

Thanks Kate, sounds like that might be a help but really all we need to be able to do is share a "clean screen".

Hi @MetroMed welcome to the community, thanks for sharing your feature request, it is being shared with the team.

It sounds like you would be interested in the 'rectangle feature' which allows you to share a portion of the screen, it's a bit different from clean screen, which shares your screen while hiding your background, task bar, and desktop icons.

This is also in development for release in the GoTo app. I don't have a release date yet, but we will post an update on this idea. Feel free to add your vote.
