Device Nicknames all reverted to HostName

All of my device nicknames have reverted to the Hostname. This happened a couple of weeks ago. I've tried to rename them but that new name never sticks. Is anyone else having this issue and is there a solution?

The nicknames worked for a few months but now are gone.

I don't. I have several tenants and the renaming was overwritten for every single one of them. I Rename again and it reverts to the computer name every time.

Hi @CS406, welcome to the community.

So far I have found one previous report of this and it was a result of Intune reinstalling Resolve on the computer which replaces the nickname with hostname each time. The suggestion for that customer was to review their Intune detection rules to identify why Resolve was being reinstalled. Did you use Intune for these computers?
