Hi,
Clarrification on how uploaded videos (Video Library) behave if an organizer disconnects unexpectedly during a live webinar.
Could you please confirm the behavior in the following scenarios?
Scenario 1: Two Organizers
- Organizer 1 starts playing a video uploaded to the GoToWebinar Video Library.
- Organizer 1 loses internet connection and disconnects.
- Organizer 2 remains connected to the webinar.
Questions:
- Will the uploaded video continue playing uninterrupted for attendees?
- Will Organizer 2 be able to control (pause, stop, skip, etc.) the video after Organizer 1 disconnects?
- Will the webinar continue normally without any interruption?
Scenario 2: Only One Organizer (No Additional Organizer)
- The only organizer starts playing an uploaded video.
- The organizer loses internet connection and disconnects.
Questions:
- Will the uploaded video continue playing until it ends?
- Will the webinar remain active, or will it end automatically?
- If the webinar remains active, how long does it stay active before ending if the organizer does not reconnect?
Scenario 3: One Organizer + Panelists (No Additional Organizer)
- There is only one organizer and one or more panelists in the webinar.
- The organizer starts playing an uploaded video and then disconnects due to internet issues.
- The panelists remain connected.
Questions:
- Will the uploaded video continue playing for attendees?
- Will the webinar remain active because panelists are still connected?
- Can a panelist control or manage the uploaded video after the organizer disconnects, or is organizer access required?
- Can the webinar continue normally until the organizer rejoins?
We want to understand the platform behavior so we can prepare an appropriate contingency plan for live webinars.
Thank you for your assistance.
