Unable to transfer large files

Am trying to move a backup of a .pst of a laptop, before it gets wiped and reset. Have tried a bunch of times, and different ways. But the process on file manager keeps getting stuck at 99%. And then just stays there. I haven't received any security pop ups or any alerts to say it's being blocked. S

o I'm not seeing why it wouldn't be working.

Thanks for your reply. I have checked all of these and confirmed they are all fine. I managed to get it to work, I basically tried a dozen times, and eventually it worked through my web browser. The issue is specifically with the larger files, it seems anything above about 2.5gigs causes issues.

The issue is, as is now standard practice, USB storage devices are blocked across our firm, so we can't practically plug in a USB stick to manually transfer over data, we would have to make a bunch of change requests to make the exception. So we rely on the RMM tool to do these odd file transfers for temperamental devices. Device backup solutions typically won't go into the weeds of the C drive to retrieve things like .pst files.

I can confirm that the reported problem is present.

We have similar problems where a transfer hang and never get done. We are supporting people all over the world and the possibility to transfer also large files are essential. The connections may not be totally stable at all times, but GotoResolve needs to be able to handle this so that small glitches in the connection not just stalls the transfer. We have also seen that the GotoResolve reports that the transfer went well just to find out that the transferred file was corrupted in the other end. This is very frustrating when you have waited for a long time to get the transfer done. Before we used GotoAssist where we didn't see the same problems at the same customers.

Just following up to see if you’ve had a chance to try the troubleshooting steps above and whether they helped with the transfer issue. I'm checking with the product team on advice for this.

In the meantime can you let me know if you tried the following troubleshoots:

Ensure a folder is actively selected in the file manager before starting the transfer.
Verify that LogMeIn Resolve has the necessary permissions (e.g., full disk access on Mac)
Check that both source and destination devices have enough free disk space for the file.
Confirm network stability, as large file transfers are sensitive to interruptions or bandwidth issues.
Temporarily disable or whitelist LogMeIn Resolve in any antivirus or security software, as these can silently interfere.
Test with smaller files to see if the issue is specific to large file sizes.
