Time Out

Question

Since returning from a holiday my GTA dashboard keeps logging due to inactivity & I have to re-verify however I still have sessions open & I'm never inactive in the dashboard for more that 5 minutes.

Has something changed or can you tell me how I can update the timeout period

Hi @Steve_W thanks for confirming that and the additional info.

Checking with the dev team, the browser time out is 60 minutes for both v4 and v5 of GoToAssist. Then, refreshing the page after you see the message does refresh the token so you don't have to authenticate again.

Is it possible there are any privacy extensions in his browser that might be playing a part? If possible can you test on Chrome with another computer and see if the same thing happens?

Hi Kate thanks for the reply, I've cleared all Browser Cache (do it regularly) & it's the same.

The strange thing that I've discovered is that if the message comes up a refresh actually takes me back in without having to use my authenticator app. This is on Chrome by the way, not tried on another browser

Hi @Steve_W Welcome to the Community,

I'm not aware with reports on this issue and testing it on our end for the last 20-25 minutes and it hasn't timed out yet. It may be a cookie issue. Have you tried clearing the browser cache?
