Has anyone had this pop up even on the browser version of GoTo Webinar. And then we can have someone else log into the same account at the same time and launch just fine.
Thank you for providing those details. At this stage we should take a look at what is specifically going with your webinars.
I’ve gone ahead and created a support case for further review by our team and provided details and the example Webinar ID you shared. Someone from our team will reach out soon. Thanks for your patience.
So when we log in, We all use the same username and password and do not typically log in at the same time until there is a problem. We log in using the Edge browser Before the update, we logged in to the Edge Browser and then we launched using the app. After the update we started using the browser and launching in the browser. When we get the error message we are trying to start the webinar as an organizer. After we get the error message that we cannot find the webinar we do get the screen that allows us to put in the webinar link but we are not able to log in as an organizer of the link does work. I could provide the Webinar ID's but it doesn't happen to all of them all of the time it is almost hit or miss. One that has been giving me problems recently is 454-423-139.
Hi @KNall Thanks for the additional information.
Edge and Chrome are the preferred browsers.
I’d like to clarify a few details about what’s happening when the error appears.
When you mention the user is “logging in,” can you confirm exactly what action they are taking at that point? For example:
Also, are they:
Typically, the “Couldn’t find that Webinar. Check your Web ID or link and try again.” message is more commonly seen when someone is attempting to join a webinar with an invalid or expired link, rather than when an organizer is starting a webinar.
For organizers, there are a couple of supported ways to launch a webinar:
We may need to get support involved as well to take a look at what's happening, in that case we would need the Webinar IDs, could you provide that?
It occurs for at least 3 people on our team independently. We do not log into the same account unless someone is getting that error message to try to provide cover and not have to reschedule the webinar. We work remotely so we are not even in the same state.
So 1 person on our team logs in, get the error message then logs out and another team member tries to log into that account (from the same browser type typically), and they are able to log in. We are all generally using Edge and I suspected it was the version, so I checked those specs and we are all updated. What is your preferred browser?
Hi @KNall Welcome to the Community,
This pop-up can occur on the browser version of GoTo Webinar, even when another user is able to log in and launch successfully using the same account.
If you haven't resolved this, can you share a few more details about what happened, like what browser was being used? Did this occur for just one person? Any further details would help. Thanks.
