Windows 7 Aero Theme

As most Rescue users probably know, performance is horrible when the Aero theme is running. There is a terrible refresh rate and input seems to lag by about 2 - 4 seconds on everything.

 

My question, Is it possible to have the aero theme and background disable when remote controlling a machine via rescue?

 

If I connect to a machine via Logmein Free/Pro then the aero theme and background will automatically disable when connected and enable upon my disconnection. Is there a similar feature that is part of the Logmein Rescue product I can use?

In the technician console tab "Customer Desktop" there is an option to "Diasble wallpaper and visual effects during remote access".  Have you tried checking that box before starting remote control?
