Hi folks,
We use LogMeIn to provide remote support for our application. We install our application and LogMeIn on laptops here at our office, and physically deliver the laptops to remote sites. The remote sites have their own networks that are outside of our control, so once they receive our laptop and put it on their network, we sometimes run into issues where we cannot connect via LogMeIn due to the configuration of their firewall, etc.
These laptops often need to be put to use nearly immediately upon receipt, so we can't afford to spend days troubleshooting connectivity after the site receives the laptop.
Therefore, we are trying to put together a process by which the site can confirm that the proper ports are open to allow us to connect via LogMeIn, but we need them to do this before they actually have our laptops.
On top of this, this process should ideally be something that can be completed by a layperson, at least until a problem is found.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to how we might be able to confirm in advance that we will be able to connect via LogMeIn?
Thanks!
