Cannot enter password - select / erase - LogMeIn Pro 4.1.0.3257 / Mac OS X 10.8.3

I've just installed the latest (4.1.0.3257) logmein pro plugin on my 10.8.3 Mac. When you try to connect to it, you must enter the logged-in user's username and password. I have long passwords and as you try to enter it, the passwords already entered will get SELECTED randomly.

So if your password is "counting sheep 12345" you might effectively enter

coun [system suddenly selects all]

ting sheep 12345 [you press enter]

counting sheep 1 [system suddenly selects all]

2345 [you press enter]

and of course you can't log in. You can see the ****** entry getting highlighted as you type when this happens. If you type a few letters and wait, you'll see it happen.

I have the same version of the plugin on my other Mac which is 10.7 with no problems.

Does this work for you? Fixed for me in 10.9 too.
I set the screen saver to none and set the display to turn off.
Works fine now but this is a bug that should be easy to replicate and fix.

I've always had this problem. If I set the password on the OS X screensaver at work, most of the time I cannot type in the password.

Every keystroke selects all previously entered text so you are constantly typing over the same 1 or 2 characters of the password.

Same issue here. Useless to me. To clarify, this happens when trying to wake from the screensaver after LogMeIn has connected to the computer.

It works fine if all I wanted to do was watch my screensaver remotely. . .

I am having this same problem. I set up the Pro version on a new iMac. The masking field on the remote computer that I'm accessing is having problems receiving the entire password. Mine is only 8 chars in length. It looks like something is being sent to the remote computer causing it to wipe out or delay the characters entered. I have this problem while trying to access the system from an iPad and workstation. I'm on a hi speed FIOS network.

I am having the same issue. This computer is using a Bluetooth keyboard. I wonder if that could be the issue?
