Re: Logmein won't install

I can confirm that one installation that was stuck on 2600 did upgrade OK to this new version.

On a PC that I had tried using the manual uninstall command line, and couldn't previously get an install to run, did install this OK, but it did think that a previous version had just been uninstalled and wanted to reboot (even though it was uninstalled days ago and this was a fresh boot).

Both PCs were XP Pro SP3

Where does the issue lie, and what are the next steps?

May not be the same issue, but it is connected as this is a PC that wouldn't upgrade from 2600 like the others so I did a manual uninstall through the command-line, tried command-line reinstall, older version re-install and registry clearing.

You are definitely running into a different issue than those on the previous post.

I have separated this one out of the thread, and suggest you reach out to our support department.

I might have spoken too soon. On the PC that was a fresh install, the version in Central shows up as r3268. The device does show as being available and online, but the connection does not complete.

It gets to the Authenticating part, then just says "Error occurred:"

Not sure if this issue is linked or a new one?

The upgrade PC works fine though
