Vsphere on Remote Computer Crashing Logmein

Hello,

I am using logmein pro to access a windows 7 32-bit machine. I ran the vmware vsphere client to fix something on a virtual machine. Interface opened OK but one I used the console to access the virtual machine my logmein remote crashed. I reloaded several times but samething happened. Anyone know how to sort this?

PS: I ended up using chrome remote plugin to sort out my problem and that didn't crash the browser.

I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to say thanks to garfieldnodie for posting this problem and solution. I've been dealing with the same problem; getting booted from logmein while remoting both Windows and Linux VMs. I never even thought about using Chrome instead of IE for logmein. Thanks again!

22 is the latest consumer release. I'm running ESR (Extended Support Release) meant for businesses and organizations that can not handle the "rapid release" cycle. The latest version of ESR is 17.0.7 (also released last week).

Have you tried upgrading you Firefox build? They are on 22 as of last week.

I'm seeing the same thing when driving vsphere thru remote logmein machine.

Step to reproduce:

Connect to remote PC via LogMeIn Pro

Launch vSphere and Open Console to connect to VM.

Click into the VM

*LogMeIn Crashes on Host computer. (plugin-container.exe crashes)

Seen using LogMeIn Plugin 1.0.0.1024 on Firefox 17.0.7 ESR under Win7 32bit Pro.

Here is the error log from Windows Application log:
