July Release Summary

July was a busy month for LogMeIn Resolve updates. Here is a quick summary of what has been released:

• The Event Viewer now lists all Windows events on the remote device. For more information, see View events on a managed LogMeIn Resolve device.
• Agents can use GoPilot to analyze the remote device's screen during a remote support session. For more information on what GoPilot can do for you, see About GoPilot.
• On the Devices page, you can now save a custom view to see only the most important device properties. For more information, see Getting around on the Devices page in LogMeIn Resolve.
• Logitech CollabOS 2.1 has been officially released making remote troubleshooting via LogMeIn Resolve available again. Customers who disabled auto-updates and stayed on older versions to keep LogMeIn Resolve can now safely update their devices to CollabOS 2.1. Customers who participated in the 2.1 Beta program can now upgrade to the official public release. Set up LogMeIn Resolve with Logitech CollabOS.
• You can now add Linux devices running Ubuntu to your account. In this Beta version, only Ubuntu versions 22.04 and 24.04 are supported. To join the Beta program and access this feature, contact your Account Manager. For information on adding managed devices, see Setting up devices.
• You can now enable the following remote control session settings before connecting to the remote device:
  - Clipboard sync
  - Lock device automatically
  - Stream quality
  - Disable wallpaper
  - Change screen capture mode when remote screen goes blank

• Admins can control whether agents can create, edit, or run Remote Execution jobs and templates, or only run jobs from existing templates. For more information, see Control Remote Execution template and job permissions.
• Agents can exclude Windows updates on selected devices. For more information, see Exclude Windows updates on your devices.
• Software Asset Management now supports multi-tenancy. Agents now see software installations per tenant and only those tenants are visible that the agent can access. In addition, software is no longer divided into winget and non-winget types. All software is now handled the same way. For more information, see Working with tenant information in the Inventory.
