Currently, in GoTo Connect, call recordings are only accessible through the
Analytics → Recordings page, which lists all recordings for the account. This makes it difficult for individual users to quickly find and review their own recordings.
Feature Request:
Add a “My Recordings” section directly in the GoTo desktop and mobile apps, showing only the recordings initiated by the logged-in user.
Why This Matters:
- This is a common feature in most VoIP and UCaaS platforms (e.g., RingCentral, Zoom Phone, 8x8).
- Improves efficiency — no need to filter through all company recordings.
- Enhances privacy and usability — users can review their calls without admin access.
- Reduces dependency on the analytics portal for everyday tasks.
Suggested Implementation:
- Add a “My Recordings” tab under the Calls or History section in the GoTo app.
- Display call date/time, contact name/number, and playback/download options.
- Optional: Include a search/filter function for quick access.
