Many organizations use Microsoft Intune as their Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) platform to secure corporate data on both managed and personal devices.
While GoTo Connect integrates well with Microsoft 365 services, the mobile applications currently do not fully participate in the Microsoft Intune managed app ecosystem. Adding native Intune App Protection Policy (APP/MAM) support would allow organizations to securely integrate GoTo Connect with other Microsoft-managed applications while maintaining corporate security controls.
As Microsoft Intune continues to be one of the most widely adopted enterprise mobility platforms, native support would make GoTo Connect a much stronger choice for organizations standardizing on Microsoft 365 and Intune.

A user opens a meeting invitation in Outlook Mobile containing a conference bridge number.
Selecting the phone number should allow the user to dial directly using GoTo Connect.
Open Phone Numbers from Microsoft Teams
A user views a phone number inside a Teams chat or Teams channel conversation.
The user should be able to launch GoTo Connect directly from Teams to place the call while keeping the interaction within the managed app ecosystem.
CRM and Line-of-Business Applications
Many organizations develop internal applications or use Microsoft Power Apps protected by Intune.
These applications should be able to securely pass phone numbers and contact information to GoTo Connect without requiring users to move information through unmanaged applications.
Secure Clipboard and Data Transfer
Organizations often restrict copy-and-paste operations between managed and unmanaged applications.
Native Intune MAM support would allow GoTo Connect to participate in approved managed app data-sharing policies while keeping communications secure.
Caller Information from Outlook Contacts
When a call arrives in GoTo Connect, the app could leverage managed corporate contact information available through Microsoft 365 to present richer caller identification details.
Launch GoTo Connect from Microsoft Edge

Why This Matters
Organizations increasingly rely on Microsoft Intune to secure mobile productivity applications while still delivering a seamless user experience. A managed version of the GoTo Connect mobile application would allow organizations to securely connect telephony workflows with Outlook, Teams, Edge, Power Apps, and other Microsoft applications, creating a more integrated and enterprise-ready communications platform.
One additional feature I'd strongly suggest including is support for Microsoft Intune configuration policies (Managed App Configuration) so administrators can automatically preconfigure server settings, sign-in options, and company-specific app settings without requiring users to manually configure the GoTo Connect app after installation. This is another major expectation for enterprise mobile apps and would pair perfectly with MAM support.
